This downloads an ISO IMAGE (not a regular file) that needs to be burned to the CD AS AN IMAGE (not as an added file). |

Bootable CD Image for Purchased Version |
The registered version of Partition Recovery comes with bootable CD support. Here are the steps to create the bootable CD.
- Create a folder on you hard drive called PR.
- Download Bootable ISO Image of Active@ Partition Recovery for DOS to burn CD.
- After ordering the product, you would have received the file PR-SETUP.EXE. Copy/move (or if necessary re-download) your file (the one from the link you received after purchasing the software) to this folder.
- You should have a folder called PR, with a file PR-SETUP.EXE in it. This file is a self extracting executable. Double click on this file. It will extract files into the PR folder.
- You will now have a folder containing PR-setup.exe and some other files. Look for the file PR.ISO, that is what needs to be burned to the CD. (Not any of the other files.) The included PR.ISO file is a special CD image file that should be burned to a CD-R or CD-RW.
For more information on recording an ISO image to CD see the following web page: How can I write ISO files to CD or DVD?
